A weekend when Erdőbénye lives to a slightly different rhythm. Bor, Mámor, Bénye has been one of Tokaj-Hegyalja"s most popular summer events for years, and this year it promises visitors some special experiences between 13 and 16 August. One of the festival’s key venues will be the SanzonTokaj garden, where the organisers are encouraging guests to bring their own wine glasses, whilst the hosts will provide the wine.
Live music will set the mood throughout the weekend, along with the culinary offerings of Karám Bistro"s culinary offerings, as well as the speciality coffees from Bab és Víz.

Wine tastings and exciting professional events
The programmes on Friday and Saturday will, of course, focus on wine. Visitors can take part in the Wine Discovery interactive sessions, where they can explore the world of wine through aromas, blends and fun activities.
Also on both days, the Tokaji Boros Quiz awaits those interested; hosted by Edit Szabó, editor-in-chief of Borsmenta, it will test participants’ knowledge of Tokaj-Hegyalja.
For more serious wine enthusiasts, several exclusive tastings requiring registration are also being organised. On Friday, at the Hárslevelű vertical tasting, you can explore the effects of ageing through wines from SanzonTokaj and Lenkey Winery, whilst on Saturday, the Tank, barrel, amphora tasting, which showcases ageing methods, and Gergő Somogyi’s Aszú vintages and vintage characteristics lecture will offer a deeper insight into the world of Tokaj wines.
Yoga, travel and cultural discussions
The festival isn’t just about wine. Each day begins with yoga in the garden, for which all you need is a mat.
On Friday, Balázs Déri, better known as BikerBalázs, will give a visual talk about his travels in Chile, Peru, Alaska and the Balkans, whilst László Upor, former head of the University of Theatre and Film Arts, will discuss academic freedom in his lecture entitled „We let it happen. Why?”.
On Saturday, food lovers are invited to Nar Gourmet’s Turkish cookery workshop, where participants can follow the journey of flavours from the vine to the plate.
You can take your favourite wines home with you
Friday evening kicks off with a concert by The MOJO, followed by a garden party hosted by DJ Bordee. On Saturday, following an acoustic jazz concert by Bundzik Duó, DJ Bordee will once again set the mood for the late evening.
The series of events concludes on Sunday morning with the wine fair, where visitors can purchase their favourite wines so they can take a bottle home with them to enjoy the festival atmosphere.
The organisers would like to point out that several events have a limited capacity and requires advance registration, so it’s worth signing up in good time.
