According to the information published on the public procurement portal information published on the public procurement portal, the purpose of the renovation is to restore and rebuild the upper wooden structure of tower âBâ and to inspect and reinforce the wooden structure of tower âAâ as necessary. In addition, the entire electrical system will be renovated, modern lighting fixtures will be installed, the lightning protection system will be inspected and renovated, and minor additions will be made to enhance the comfort of the tourist experience.
Comprehensive renovation in both towers
In both towers, the wooden support structures will be repaired, the roof tiles will be restored and impregnated, and the steel fittings and fastenings will be inspected. As part of the work, a new steel antenna support structure will be built, and the antennas will be relocated.
The entire electrical system will be renewed, with the installation of modern lighting fixtures and the upgrading of lightning protection. Both towers will be equipped with a new camera system, display cases, benches, tables and chairs, and a 25Ă100 telescope will also be installed for the convenience of visitors.
Comprehensive landscaping will also be carried out in the vicinity of Tower A. This will involve covering the ditch, installing a new rainwater drainage system and creating crushed stone and stone-paved surfaces. The green areas will be renewed: planting trees and shrubs, spreading humus and laying turf are also among the tasks. An information board, photo point, benches and litter bins will also be installed on site.
Tokaj-Hegyalja gate
