The Rákóczi Association is organising its traditional teachers" camp for the twenty-eighth time in Sátoraljaújhely Rákóczi Camp between 12 and 16 July – the organisation informed MTI.
They reported that around three hundred teachers, mainly from secondary schools, are expected to attend the event. The teachers will be coming not only from Hungary and the Hungarian-populated regions of the Carpathian Basin, but also from diaspora communities, including the United States, Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Germany and New Zealand.
They are being rewarded for their selfless work
According to the association’s statement, the programme has been one of their most important professional and community events for many years.
Its aim is to provide teachers with opportunities to exchange experiences, undertake professional development and strengthen personal relationships, whilst building a community amongst teachers committed to the cause of the Rákóczi Association.
The aim of the event is to express their appreciation to those teachers who, through their outstanding and selfless work, actively support the organisation of the Rákóczi Association and help build a community of young Hungarians. During the five-day programme, participants can take part in professional presentations, round-table discussions and cultural events, and will have the opportunity to strengthen ties between teachers from different regions and share best practices, they wrote.
