The complex reconstruction of the Hosszú Bridge between Tokaj and Rakamaz is also part of the project.
Until the end of the summer, specialists will be working on a comprehensive refurbishment of a 45-kilometre section of the 100C railway line connecting Miskolc and Nyíregyháza, with the line closed to traffic. Replacement buses will transport passengers between Szerencs and Nyíregyháza until the end of the summer. The project also includes the modernisation of facilities at stations and stops.
These measures will help to improve the operational safety of the railway infrastructure and reduce traffic restrictions.
