The University of Sárospatak Tokaj-Hegyalja presents the courses that are available exclusively at the institution. The first instalment in the series focuses on the specialised further education programme offered by the Department of Regional History and Cultural Studies, the Studies in the Peoples and Cultures of Central Europe programme – all of which was presented on the institution’s Facebook page.
The aim of the programme is to train professionals with a multidisciplinary approach who possess a broad knowledge of the history, society, and cultural and natural heritage of the nations of Central Europe. During the course, students will acquire knowledge that provides a comprehensive overview of the region’s complex historical and cultural processes.

Upon completion of the training programme, participants will be equipped to prepare cultural and professional decisions relating to Central Europe and to support the work of various organisations.
The knowledge gained can be put to use in the following areas, amongst others:
