The local council of Mád has launched a public procurement tender for a number of projects relating to local transport infrastructure. As part of the development, a total of 18 parking spaces will be created in two areas near the school; one of these will be reserved for people with reduced mobility, whilst another will be equipped with an electric car charging point. During the works, paving stones, kerbs and green spaces will also be installed, and provision will be made for rainwater drainage.
A four-space car park is being built next to the nursery school, with new paving and a retaining wall; the school grounds will also be enclosed by a fence and lockable gates. The third element of the project is the refurbishment of Vasút Street: the design documentation sets out two phases, each covering a length of approximately 240 metres. The aim of these developments is to improve parking facilities and modernise the local transport infrastructure.
