The outstanding winemakers of the Tokaji wine region will be arriving in May at Mercure Tokaj Center to present their finest wines as part of a special series of wine seminars.
During the events held on Friday evenings from 7.00 pm, participants can immerse themselves in the distinctive flavours of Tokaj-Hegyalja wines through a three-course wine tasting. The events offer an insight into the diverse character and traditions of the wine region.
What do the wine seminars offer?
Those interested can meet representatives from various wineries at the following times:
8 May – Füleky Winery
15 May – Rákóczi Cellar
22 May – Sauska Winery
29 May – Péter Winery
The participation fee is 3,000 HUF per person, which includes the service charge. The programme is open not only to hotel guests but also to members of the public; however, the wine-tasting sessions will only take place if at least 8–10 people sign up.
The evening doesn’t end after the tasting; guests have the opportunity to continue the experience in the hotel restaurant, the Winestone Restaurant, where they can round off the evening with a delightful dinner.
