The Waldzell Kft. Tokaj Marina project, launched back in 2022, has gained new momentum. The aim of the development is to create a modern, waterside tourism and community centre on the banks of the Bodrog, right next to Tokaj"s historic town centre – writes in his post Tokaj, György Posta.
The harbour, water sports and street food
According to the plans, as part of the development, visitors will be able to enjoy a passenger boat harbour, a water sports centre and boat hire facilities. Kayaks, canoes, SUPs and rowing boats will also be available for hire, allowing the Bodrog to reveal itself to tourists from a new perspective.
The event will also feature a food court, where guests can enjoy street food and Tokaj wines.
More car parks and electric car charging points
According to the plans, the development will include a car park with more than 100 spaces, electric car charging points, a bicycle service point and well-maintained public toilets.
The aim of the project is to create a modern meeting place, linked to the revitalised city centre, which will serve both local residents and tourists visiting the area.
