The cultural offering of Tokaj has been enriched with a new permanent exhibition. The exhibition entitled "A kolorista" opened on 16 October at the Csutkai–Tenkács House , where visitors can explore the life’s work of the painter Tibor Tenkács (1913–1998) – as reported in Tokaj Facebook post.
Organised by the Tokaji Writers’ Camp Association, this exhibition offers an insight into the artist’s distinctive colour palette and rich creative legacy. The exhibition provides visitors with an opportunity to explore a valuable aspect of Tokaj’s artistic legacy in greater detail.
The exhibition is open on Fridays from 12 noon to 5 pm and on Saturdays from 10 am to 5 pm at the Csutkai–Tenkács House (3910 Tokaj, 7 Benedek Pál Street), and will also be open to visitors on 23 October. The house was formerly the home of Tibor Tenkács, his wife and their family.
Admission is 1,000 forints for adults and 500 forints for students. Please note that, for the time being, payment can only be made in cash.
