Tokaji Pap Miklós Népfőiskola According to the programme published on its Facebook page, the event Folk Song Evening and Dance House at the Nomád Nemzedék House will take place on Friday 2 October between 6 pm and 9 pm. The event will be hosted by Nomád Nemzedék Háza, located in the courtyard of the folk high school.
Tunes from Gömör and Magyarböd
During the evening, the organisers will guide participants through the unique world of music and dance of Felvidék. The programme will feature folk songs, dances and traditional games from the Gömör region, specifically Szilice and Borzova, as well as Magyarbőd.
The organisers welcome people of all ages, so the programme could also be a great way for families to enjoy themselves. In this way, folk music and folk dance traditions are not merely presented as performances, but can become a shared experience.
The programme will be hosted by members of Tokaji Aranyfürt and Tokaji Naparany Néptáncegyüttes. The musical accompaniment will be provided by Dr Gábor Dragony, the dance instruction by Gábor Norbert Kovács, and the singing by Nóra Kovács-Gál.
